“This year marks the 17th year of celebrating the National Biotechnology Week (NBW) in observance of the Presidential Proclamation No. 1414 s. 2007. Chaired by the Department of Interior and Local Government, this year’s celebration is themed “Kapit-bisig na Pagtutulungan, Bioteknolohiya Ating Paghusayan!”.
As a support to the NBW activities, the DA- National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI) – Fisheries Biotechnology Center (FBC) – will be conducting the 6th National Fisheries Biotechnology Symposium (NFBS) on November 24-25, 2021. The symposium will conduct 2-day plenary sessions and highlight six plenary presentations via ZOOM platform. In this regard, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the said symposium.
